Là người thầy tận tụy và tâm huyết với nghề, với những bài giảng hay, truyền cho học trò cả kiến thức và những cốt lõi và sâu xa trong từng môn học, GS Nguyễn Đình Đức đã thắp lên ở các học trò niềm đam mê với nghề nghiệp và cuốn hút, khơi dậy ở họ những tiềm năng. Hầu hết tất cả các sinh viên trong nhóm nghiên cứu của ông khi tốt nghiệp kỹ sư đều có kết quả nghiên cứu được công bố trên các tạp chí quốc tế ISI có uy tín. Trong số các học trò của ông thành đạt và được biết đến, như NCS Trần Quốc Quân, SN 1991, chuyển tiếp nghiên cứu sinh (nay đang thực tập tại Vương quốc Anh) đã có 15 bài báo trên các tạp chí quốc tế ISI, Phạm Hồng Công, SN 1992, nay đã có 18 bài báo ISI, Phạm Toàn Thắng SN 1991 khi tốt nghiệp đại học ra trường đã có 5 bài báo ISI (nay đang làm NCS tại Hà Quốc), Vũ Thị Thùy Anh (đang làm NCS, đã có 6 bài ISI), Hoàng Văn Tùng (khi làm luận án và bảo vệ luận án TS năm 2010 đã có 5 bài ISI), còn có các em sinh viên khác đều đã có kết quả chung với thầy công bố trên các tạp chí quốc tế ISI như: Vũ Đình Quang, Vũ Minh Anh, Nguyễn Văn Quyền, Trần Văn Anh, Vũ Đình Luật, Hoàng Văn Tác, Nguyễn Trọng Đạo, Ngô Tất Đạt, Phạm Thị Ngọc Ân và đặc biệt có em còn rất trẻ, mới học hết năm thứ 3 như Phạm Đình Nguyện,…

Điều đáng trân trọng là thầy và trò đều công bố quốc tế với nội lực 100% made in Việt Nam, trong điều kiện rất khó khăn và thiếu thốn về kinh phí, CSVC, phòng thí nghiệm (PTN). Và đáng quý trọng và khâm phục là tất cả các học trò này của GS Đức đều là các em ở các tỉnh xa, con nhà nghèo, trong số đó có những em có hoàn cảnh gia đình đặc biết khó khăn.

Như vậy có thể thấy để nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo, cần và phụ thuộc vào rất nhiều yếu tố, nhưng yếu tố người Thầy là trước tiên và là quan trọng nhất, và chính người Thầy và môi trường ĐHQGHN đã thắp sáng tài năng ở các em. Thầy còn rèn giũa cho các em kỹ năng làm việc theo nhóm, dìu dắt nhau cùng tiến bộ và chỉ dẫn tận tình để các em biết cách tự đọc và tự nghiên cứu, tự nâng cao năng lực kiến thức chuyên môn ngoài những nội dung đã được trang bị trong chương trình đào tạo.

GS Nguyễn Đình Đức tiếp cận những hướng nghiên cứu mới, hiện đại của Thế giới

Để có được những thành công trên, không chỉ là sự yêu nghề và tâm huyết, mà người thầy phải có trình độ trí thức cao và tư duy nhạy bén, tiếp cận được các hướng nghiên cứu hiện đại của thế giới.

Trước đây khi còn ở nước ngoài, GS Nguyễn Đình Đức nghiên cứu về vật liệu composite bền và siêu bền nhiệt cacbon-cacbon, được ứng dụng mạnh mẽ trong công nghệ hàng không và vũ trụ, trong công nghệ chế tạo tên lửa. Khi về nước, ông đã nhanh chóng bắt tay vào nghiên cứu vật liệu polymer composite ứng dụng trong điều kiện của Việt Nam, trong đó kết quả nghiên cứu ứng dụng hạt nano để tăng khả năng chống thấm và các tính năng cơ lý cho composite đã được ứng dụng vào công nghiệp đóng tàu composite và được Cục sở hữu trí tuệ cấp Bằng Giải pháp hữu ích.

Năm 2006, nhân chuyến công tác ngắn có mấy ngày tại JAIST (Viện KHCN tiên tiến của Nhật Bản), GS đã tranh thủ vào thư viện tìm hiểu, tiếp cận về vật liệu composite chức năng FGM (vật liệu có cơ lý tính biến đổi).

Ngay sau đó, khi về nước, GS đã bắt tay vào nghiên cứu vấn đề này và 2 năm sau, năm 2008 đã có những kết quả nghiên cứu đầu tiên về FGM được công bố ở Việt Nam. Kể từ đó đến nay, vật liệu FGM đã được nhiều nhà khoa học ở các cơ quan đào tạo và nghiên cứu khác nhau trên cả nước quan tâm nghiên cứu và đã công bố hàng trăm bài báo về vật liệu này. GS Nguyễn Đình Đức và PTN vật liệu và kết cấu tiên tiến do GS phụ trách đã tiếp cận những hướng nghiên cứu rất mới và hiện đại như nano FGM, vật liệu auxetic (có hệ số Poát xông âm, có khả năng hấp thụ sóng nổ, bảo vệ kết cấu – công trình), vật liệu nano composite ứng dụng trong năng lượng sạch, năng lượng tái tạo.

GS Đức cho biết, chiến lược phát triển của PTN trong những năm tới đây là đi vào 3 lĩnh vực nghiên cứu phục vụ thực tiễn: Civil Engineering (liên quan đến tính toán vật liệu và kết cấu cho các công trình giao thông, xây dựng và kỹ thuật hạ tầng); năng lượng mới; biến đổi khí hậu (tính toán dự báo mưa, lũ và các giải pháp thiết kế, thi công các công trình hạ tầng thích ứng với biến đổi khí hậu).

Đến nay, PTN của GS đã và đang có quan hệ, hợp tác với các nhà khoa học có uy tín trong các trường đại học hàng đầu của Nhật Bản, Hàn Quốc, Vương quốc Anh, Úc, Canada,…để triển khai các nghiên cứu này và GS cũng là một trong số ít nhà khoa học Việt Nam được Quỹ Newton của Viện Khoa học Công nghệ Hoàng gia Anh tài trợ nghiên cứu – hợp tác.

Với sự ủng hộ và quan tâm của lãnh đạo ĐHQGHN và trường ĐH Công nghệ, những năm tới PTN chắc chắn sẽ phát triển mạnh mẽ hơn nữa, đào tạo được nhiều nhân tài hơn nữa cho đất nước.

Chỉ trong thời gian ngắn xây dựng và hoạt động, PTN Vật liệu và Kết cấu tiên tiến đã được biết đến trong cộng đồng khoa học trong và ngoài nước. GS Nguyễn Đình Đức – Trưởng PTN đã được mời tham gia hội đồng biên tập của nhiều tạp chí khoa học ở trong và ngoài nước, làm chuyên gia nhận xét, phản biện cho 40 tạp chí khoa học có uy tín của quốc tế.

Không chỉ là nhà giáo, nhà khoa học tâm huyết, GS Nguyễn Đình Đức còn có bề dày trong công tác quản lý các hoạt động khoa học và đào tạo. Hiện nay, GS Đức là Trưởng Ban Đào tạo (Đại học và Sau Đại học) của ĐHQGHN, ông cũng đã kinh qua các cương vị như Trưởng Ban KHCN của ĐHQGHN, Phó Hiệu trưởng Trường Đại học Công nghệ.

Trên các cương vị của mình, GS đã có những đề xuất và đóng góp tích cực và hiệu quả góp phần vào việc đào tạo và bồi dưỡng nhân tài, xây dựng các nhóm nghiên cứu mạnh, đổi mới công tác quản lý đào tạo và nghiên cứu khoa học tiếp cận các chuẩn mực quốc tế, đóng góp tích cực trong công tác đổi mới tuyển sinh, nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo tiến sỹ, xây dựng các mô hình đào tạo mới.

GS là người đã đề xuất và phụ trách tổ chuyên gia xây dựng chương trình đào tạo tiến sỹ Cơ học Kỹ thuật, là người sáng lập PTN Vật liệu và Kết cấu tiên tiến của trường ĐHCN. GS cũng là người đã đề xuất và có những đóng góp quan trọng xây dựng và triển khai đào tạo ngành Kỹ thuật hạ tầng ở Trường Đại học Việt Nhật và hiện nay GS cũng là Giám đốc của chương trình này.

Với những đóng góp xuất sắc và bền bỉ cho sự nghiệp giáo dục và đào tạo, Nhà giáo – người Thầy – GS.TSKH Nguyễn Đình Đức đã nhiều năm được công nhận là chiến sỹ thi đua, được tặng nhiều Bằng khen của Giám đốc ĐHQGHN, Bằng khen của Thủ tướng Chính Phủ, năm học 2015-2016 ông là chiến sỹ thi đua của ngành Giáo dục Đào tạo và được Chủ tịch nước tặng Huân chương Lao động hạng III (2016).

Giải thưởng mang tên GS.VS Nguyễn Văn Đạo, nhà Cơ học lỗi lạc của Việt Nam trong lĩnh vực Cơ học. Ông là Chủ tịch đầu tiên của Hội Cơ học Việt Nam và cũng là Giám đốc đầu tiên của ĐHQGHN.

Sau khi ông mất, Hội Cơ học Việt Nam đã thành lập quỹ Nguyễn Văn Đạo để tặng thưởng cho những nhà cơ học trẻ tài năng, có đóng góp xuất sắc trong nghiên cứu khoa học và đã trở thành giải thưởng có uy tín và danh giá nhất của ngành Cơ học hiện nay. Giải thưởng Nguyễn Văn Đạo lần thứ nhất được trao cho TS. Nguyễn Xuân Hùng (Giảng viên ĐH KHTN – ĐHQG TPCM) năm 2011, và lần thứ 2, được trao cho TS Lê Đình Tuân (giảng viên ĐH Bách khoa TP HCM), năm 2014.

Giải thưởng lần này, Hội Cơ học Việt Nam vừa quyết định trao giải thưởng tài năng Cơ học Nguyễn Văn Đạo lần thứ 3, năm 2016 cho Trần Quốc Quân – nghiên cứu sinh của Phòng Thí Nghiệm Vật liệu và Kết cấu Tiên tiến, Khoa Cơ học Kỹ thuật và Tự động hóa – Trường Đại học Công nghệ – ĐHQGHN vì những thành tích xuất sắc trong nghiên cứu khoa học.

Trần Quốc Quân sinh năm 1991, tại gia đình nghèo tại Can Lộc, Hà Tĩnh. Tốt nghiệp Thủ khoa Cơ học Kỹ thuật của Đại học Công nghệ, ĐHQGHN năm 2013.

Ngay từ khi học ở năm thứ 2 ở trường Đại học Công nghệ, Trần Quốc Quân đã bắt đầu tham gia nghiên cứu khoa học dưới sự hướng dẫn của GS. TSKH Nguyễn Đình Đức. Sau khi tốt nghiệp đại học bậc kỹ sư , Quân được chuyển tiếp làm NCS. Những công trình nghiên cứu của NCS Trần Quốc Quân liên quan đến vật liệu composite chức năng FGM và nano composite. Những đóng góp chủ yếu của các công trình này bao gồm những kết quả chính như sau:

Thứ nhất, các công trình này đã giải quyết thành công bài toán nghiên cứu ổn định tĩnh và đáp ứng động lực học của vỏ composite FGM hai độ cong trên nền đàn hồi chịu các tải cơ, nhiệt và cơ – nhiệt đồng thời. Các tính chất hiệu dụng của các kết cấu được giả sử biến đổi qua chiều dày thành vỏ theo hàm luật luỹ thừa với các lớp khác nhau (kim loại-gốm, kim loại-gốm-kim loại hoặc gốm-kim loại-gốm).

Các tính chất vật liệu thành phần của vật liệu được xét trong cả hai trường hợp độc lập với nhiệt độ và phụ thuộc vào nhiệt độ và đã sử dụng cả lý thuyết vỏ cổ điển cũng như lý thuyết vỏ có biến dạng trượt bậc cao (đến bậc 3).

Thứ hai, giải quyết thành công bài toán vỏ hai độ cong được gia cường bằng các gân dọc và ngang dưới tác động của nhiệt độ. Đây là bài toán phức tạp, vì dưới tác động của nhiệt độ, cả vỏ và gân đều bị biến dạng.

Đồng thời đã nghiên cứu ảnh hưởng của các kích thước hình học, tính không hoàn hảo về hình dáng ban đầu, gân gia cường và nền đàn hồi đến ổn định tĩnh và động phi tuyến của vỏ FGM hai độ cong. Theo hiểu biết của chúng tôi, đây cũng là những công bố sớm đầu tiên về ổn định của vỏ FGM có gân dưới tác động của nhiệt độ.

Thứ ba, đã nghiên cứu ổn định phi tuyến của các kết cấu vỏ hai độ cong FGM áp điện chịu tải trọng điện (piezoelectric FGM): Xác định lực tới hạn, đường cong lực-độ võng, tần số tự nhiên, đáp ứng động học của các kết cấu vỏ hai độ cong FGM áp điện.

Ở kết quả số, ảnh hưởng của các kích thước hình học, tính chất vật liệu, tính không hoàn hảo về hình dáng ban đầu, gân gia cường, nền đàn hồi và tải điện đến ổn định phi tuyến của vỏ FGM áp điện được xác định.

Liên quan đến piezoelectric FGM là các bài toán mới và hiện đại trong lĩnh vực cơ học hiện nay và theo như hiểu biết của chúng tôi có thể đây là công bố đầu tiên về ổn định của vỏ FGM áp điện của các nhà khoa học ở Việt Nam.

Cuối cùng, nghiên cứu tính toán ổn định phi tuyến của nanocomposite polyme 3 pha. Vật liệu composite 3 pha được nghiên cứu là composite bao gồm pha nền polyme (polyester, vinylester, epoxy), sợi (thủy tinh, cacbon) và bổ sung thêm pha thứ ba là các hạt gia cường (là các hạt titan oxit) với các phương án chọn tỷ lệ trộn nền, sợi và hạt khác nhau.

Sử dụng các kết quả tính toán các mô đun đàn hồi cũng như hệ số giãn nở nhiệt cho composite polyme 3 pha của GS. TSKH Nguyễn Đình Đức, các công trình đã tính toán ổn định tĩnh và động cho các kết cấu tấm, panel và chỉ ra mối quan hệ ứng xử của vật liệu và kết cấu phụ thuộc vào tính chất và tỷ lệ trộn của các vật liệu thành phần, điều này cho phép có thể dự đoán được khả năng chịu tải của vật liệu và kết cấu, cũng như có thể chủ động thiết kế chế tạo vật liệu mới đáp ứng các điều kiện khai thác mong muốn.

Vươn tầm quốc tế

Trưởng thành trong nhóm nghiên cứu mạnh của Phòng thí nghiệm Vật liệu và Kết cấu tiên tiến – thực hiện gắn kết chặt chẽ đào tạo với nghiên cứu, dưới sự lãnh đạo khoa học của GS.TSKH Nguyễn Đình Đức, chỉ riêng NCS Trần Quốc Quân đã công bố 21 bài báo và báo cáo khoa học, với 14 bài báo trên tạp chí quốc tế ISI, trong đó có 8 bài ISI với chỉ số IF lớn hơn 2 (với 3 bài có chỉ số IF lớn hơn 3.8). Đây là những kết quả nghiên cứu xuất sắc với NCS tuổi đời còn rất trẻ và đào tạo 100% tại Việt Nam.

Ngoài ra, bài toán ổn định phi tuyến và đáp ứng động lực học là những vấn đề được quan tâm và có ý nghĩa quan trong, thiết thực trong lĩnh vực cơ học kết cấu. Các kết quả nhận được trong phân tích ổn định của các kết cấu làm từ vật liệu có cơ tính biến đổi sẽ cung cấp các thông tin quan trọng trong việc thiết kế, đảm bảo cho kết cấu hợp lý khi chế tạo và an toàn khi khai thác sử dụng.

Hơn nữa các kết quả nhận được là dưới dạng giải tích (dạng hiển), do đó nghiên cứu cung cấp cơ sở khoa học cho các nhà thiết kế, chế tạo kết cấu FGM, xây dựng các công trình sử dụng vật liệu FGM, giúp cho các nhà thiết kế, chế tạo, xây dựng,…có thể lựa chọn phù hợp, chính xác sự phân bố vật liệu thành phần trong FGM cũng như các tham số của kết cấu và nền để vừa phát huy được khả năng chịu tải, khả năng kháng nhiệt ưu việt của vật liệu trong môi trường nhiệt độ cao, lại vừa hạn chế được khả năng rạn nứt hoặc phá huỷ của kết cấu có thể xảy ra khi chịu tải cơ lớn, cũng như lựa chọn vật liệu nền hợp lý.

Thành công của Trần Quốc Quân góp phần khẳng định sự lớn mạnh và hội nhập quốc tế của ngành Cơ học Việt Nam và chất lượng đào tạo tiến sỹ theo các chuẩn mực quốc tế tại ĐHQGHN.

TSKH Nguyễn Đình Đức – Trưởng phòng thí nghiệm Vật liệu và Kết cấu tiên tiến của Khoa Cơ học kỹ thuật và Tự động hóa (Trường Đại học Công nghệ, ĐHQGHN) đã được cấp bằng sáng chế.
Vật liệu mới áp dụng trong công nghiệp đóng tàu
Hơn 30 năm kể từ những ngày đầu bước chân vào nghiên cứu khoa học cho đến nay, GS.TSKH Nguyễn Đình Đức đã chọn cho mình hướng đi bền bỉ và gắn trọn vẹn với nghiên cứu về vật liệu compozite. Những năm làm tiến sỹ và tiến sỹ khoa học ở Nga, Giáo sư đã bắt đầu nghiên cứu về vật liệu compozite ba pha cácbon- cácbon siêu bền nhiệt, siêu nhẹ được ứng dụng cho tên lửa, hàng không vũ trụ. Khi về nước, ngay từ 2002, GS. Nguyễn Đình Đức đã nhanh chóng sử dụng các phương pháp nghiên cứu hiện đại và kết quả nghiên cứu  ở Nga để áp dụng cho lớp vật liệu polymer được ứng dụng rộng rãi ở Việt Nam. Khởi đầu là những nghiên cứu tính toán lý thuyết, sau đó là các nghiên cứu thực nghiệm, và trong thời gian 2009-2011, giáo sư đã phối hợp nghiên cứu về khả năng ứng dụng các hạt nano titan oxit trong đề tài Nghị định thư nghiên cứu về vật liệu OLED phát quang do GS. TS. Nguyễn Năng Định làm Chủ nhiệm (Khoa Vật lý Kỹ thuật và Công nghệ nano).

GS. TSKH. Nguyễn Đình Đức đã chia sẻ: ý tưởng của sáng chế này nảy sinh từ thực tiễn. Những năm vừa qua, tại Việt Nam, công nghiệp đóng tàu vừa và nhỏ bằng compozite phát triển rất mạnh mẽ, nhưng phần đà máy (bể chứa máy) của tàu thủy hay bị thấm nước, nên việc chống thấm rất quan trọng. Từ đó, Viện nghiên cứu chế tạo tàu thủy (Trường Đại học Nha Trang) đã đặt vấn đề với giáo sư về việc xử lý chống thấm cho vật liệu này. Điều may mắn là, nhóm nghiên cứu do GS Nguyễn Đình Đức là trưởng nhóm có thế mạnh về nghiên cứu compozite ba pha (có sợi và hạt) và có cơ sở khoa học cho thấy các sợi có khả năng tăng độ bền, độ cứng và tăng các mô đun đàn hồi của vật liệu; còn các hạt khoáng có tác dụng làm giảm các vết nứt, giúp vật liệu polymer tăng khả năng chịu nhiệt, làm giảm biến dạng không đàn hồi, tăng độ bền khi chịu nén của vật liệu,…Từ những nghiên cứu cơ bản đó, Giáo sư đã đưa ra ý tưởng bổ sung một tỷ lệ hợp lý các hạt nano titan đi-ô-xit với kích thước rất nhỏ để trám lỗ rỗng trong vật liệu polymer, làm tăng cường khả năng liên kết giữa nền polymer với sợi. Từ đó làm tăng độ bền và khả năng chống thấm của vật liệu.
Ngay sau khi GS Nguyễn Đình Đức đưa ra giải pháp như vậy, Viện nghiên cứu chế tạo tàu thủy (Trường Đại học Nha Trang) đã ủng hộ mạnh mẽ và hợp tác, hỗ trợ nghiên cứu, chế tạo mẫu và thử nghiệm. Viện nghiên cứu đã chế tạo mẫu theo công nghệ và tỷ lệ vật liệu polymer, sợi và hạt theo tính toán của Giáo sư. Viện đã trực tiếp làm thực nghiệm để kiểm chứng tính chất cơ lý của vật liệu và đồng thời, Giáo sư cũng đã đem mẫu đó kiểm tra, soi chụp tại Phòng thí nghiệm Micro-nano (của Trường Đại học Công nghệ) để chụp và soi cấu trúc. Các kết quả thực nghiệm và kiểm tra cấu trúc (như ở hình 1 và hình 2) cho thấy kết quả rất khả quan: Quả thực các hạt nano đã trám, lấp được những lỗ trống trong polymer và nhờ vậy không chỉ góp phần làm tăng các mô đun đàn hồi, tăng mô men uốn (là thông số quan trọng trong kỹ thuật tàu thủy) mà quả thực có thể tăng khả năng chống thấm cho compozite. Sau khi có kết quả nghiên cứu và thử nghiệm một cách tin cậy và chắc chắn như vậy, tháng 8-2012, Viện nghiên cứu và chế tạo tàu thủy ĐH Nha Trang đã cùng giáo sư thi công, áp dụng vào thực tiễn, chế tạo đà máy trong quá trình đóng tàu bằng compozite tại Viện thành công, GS.TSKH Nguyễn Đình Đức cho biết.

Khi nói đến tính ưu việt của vật liệu polymer compozite sợi thủy tinh, GS. TSKH Nguyễn Đình Đức khẳng định, vật liệu này có đặc tính cơ học cao, có khả năng trơ trong môi trường kiềm và axit, lại nhẹ hơn sắt thép, vì vậy là vật liệu phi kim loại dùng thay thế sắt thép trong các công trình biển và hải đảo, đường ống dẫn truyền hóa chất, đóng tàu,…Hiện nay, ở Việt Nam, vật liệu compozite polymer sợi thủy tinh được ứng dụng nhiều trong công nghiệp đóng tàu (cỡ nhỏ, cỡ trung) làm tàu của ngư dân, tàu và ca-nô tuần tra biển (cảnh sát biển, kiểm ngư,…).
Cuối năm 2012, GS.TSKH Nguyễn Đình Đức đã đăng ký sáng chế ở Cục Sở hữu trí tuệ Việt Nam và đến tháng 3/2013, đã có quyết định công nhận hồ sơ hợp lệ. Trải qua 3 năm nỗ lực cùng sự phối hợp của nhóm nghiên cứu, được sự hỗ trợ mạnh mẽ Khoa và của Phòng quản lý khoa học (Trường Đại học Công nghệ), đầu năm 2016, sản phẩm vật liệu polymer compozite sợi thủy tinh hạt nano titan oxit đã được Cục sở hữu trí tuệ cấp bằng sáng chế. Đây là một thành công bước đầu của nhóm nghiên cứu để phát triển những vật liệu mới tiếp theo trong thời gian tới. Khi nhắc đến dự định trong tương lai, GS.TSKH Nguyễn Đình Đức cho biết, nhóm sẽ phát triển compozite trong một số lĩnh vực khác liên quan đến vật liệu và kết cấu tiên tiến, như vật liệu compozite chức năng FGM và nano FGM, bê tông chịu mặn cường độ cao, vật liệu mới auxetic (với hệ số Poát xông âm) để chống chịu các điều kiện khắc nghiệt, thích ứng với biến đổi khí hậu và chịu các tải trọng đặc biệt.
Nghiên cứu khoa học cơ bản ứng dụng gắn kết chặt chẽ với công bố quốc tế
Trong những năm nghiên cứu vật liệu mới compozite, điều mà GS.TSKH Nguyễn Đình Đức tâm đắc nhất là không chỉ nghiên cứu ứng dụng, mà qua hoạt động nghiên cứu đã công bố được nhiều bài quốc tế và gắn kết chặt chẽ nghiên cứu với đào tạo. Giáo sư chia sẻ, trước kia không ít nhà khoa học quan niệm nghiên cứu khoa học cơ bản thì khó có ứng dụng hoặc nghiên cứu ứng dụng rất khó công bố quốc tế. Nhưng với sáng chế vật liệu polymer compozite sợi thủy tinh đã chứng minh giữa khoa học cơ bản ứng dụng và công bố quốc tế có gắn kết chặt chẽ, tiếp cận được với chuẩn mực và trình độ của thế giới. Những kết quả nghiên cứu về composite polymer 3 pha sợi thủy tinh hạt nano titan oxit đã được công bố trên những tạp chí quốc tế có IF (chỉ số ảnh hưởng) cao.
Bên cạnh đó, trong quá trình nghiên cứu, bằng sự tâm huyết và yêu nghề, Giáo sư Nguyễn Đình Đức đã đào tạo và xây dựng được đội ngũ nhóm nghiên cứu mạnh về composite được biết đến ở trong và ngoài nước. Các nghiên cứu sinh trong nhóm nghiên cứu của Giáo sư Nguyễn Đình Đức đều là các em xuất sắc, có nhiều bài báo công bố trên các tạp chí có uy tín của nước ngoài, không thua kém gì với các nghiên cứu sinh được đào tạo ở các trường đại học hàng đầu trên thế giới. Theo đề xuất của giáo sư, năm 2015, Hiệu trưởng trường Đại học Công nghệ đã ký quyết định thành lập Phòng thí nghiệm vật liệu Vật liệu và Kết cấu tiến tiến, hoạt động theo mô hình Phòng thí nghiệm vừa nghiên cứu vừa đào tạo, và giáo sư Nguyễn Đình Đức được bổ nhiệm làm Trưởng Phòng thí nghiệm.

Để đạt được những thành công như hiện nay, GS.TSKH Nguyễn Đình Đức một lần nữa khẳng định, nhà khoa học cần phải đồng hành với doanh nghiệp vì kinh phí đề tài chỉ hỗ trợ phần nghiên cứu cơ bản, phần thử nghiệm phải được thực hiện theo nhu cầu của thực tiễn, qua đơn đặt hàng từ thực tiễn và có sự hỗ trợ của doanh nghiệp và người sử dụng. Từ đó, mô hình kết hợp có hiệu quả nhất để những sản phẩm khoa học công nghệ đạt được thành công, đi vào cuộc sống là phải có sự kết hợp chặt chẽ 4 nhà: Nhà trường – Nhà khoa học- Doanh nghiệp- Nhà nước. Có thể thấy đây là mô hình của trung tâm nghiên cứu xuất sắc: vừa giải quyết vấn đề thực tiễn, vừa có thể tiến hành nghiên cứu và đào tạo đạt chuẩn quốc tế.

CÔNG BỐ 6 CHƯƠNG TRÌNH ĐÀO TẠO THẠC SỸ ĐẦU TIÊN CỦA TRƯỜNG ĐH VIỆT NHẬT

Ngày 12-12 tại Hội trường Nguyễn Văn Đạo của ĐHQGHN, đã công bố 6 chương trình thạc sỹ đầu tiên của ĐH Việt Nhật. Tới dự về phía VN có Thứ trưởng Bộ NG, Thứ trưởng Bộ GTVT, Chủ tịch Phòng CN và TM VN, Phó CT Hội HN Việt Nhật, Giám đốc ĐHQGHN và các trường ĐH thành viên, một số doanh nghiệp. Phía Nhật có tham tán Công sứ, Trưởng Đại diện JICA, Chủ tịch Hội HN Nhật Bản – Việt Nam, đại diện các trường đại học Nhật bản đối tác, đại điện các doanh nghiệp Nhật bản tại VN.

Để có được buổi lễ công bố long trọng 6 chương trình đào tạo độc đáo như ngày hôm nay, đó là kết quả của sự nỗ lực và quyết tâm cao của nhóm tập thể các nhà khoa học của ĐHQGHN và của một số trường đại học và cơ quan khoa học khác của Việt Nam (chương trình Kỹ thuật hạ tầng có sự tham gia của các GS, các giảng viên từ ĐH Xây dựng Hà Nội, ĐH Giao Thông, Học Viện Thủy lợi, Viện KHCN Việt Nam,…) và các giáo sư của trường đại học của Nhật Bản, sự ủng hộ và hỗ trợ tài chính tích cực và kịp thời của JICA và của ĐHQGHN, đặc biệt là sự quyết tâm và chỉ đạo sát sao, quan tâm đặc biệt của Giám đốc ĐHQGHN và các đồng chí trong Ban Giám đốc, sự ủng hộ của các bộ ngành, các doanh nghiệp Việt Nam- Nhật Bản; của Chính phủ Việt Nam và Nhật Bản.
6 chương trình đó là: CN nano; Kỹ thuật môi trường; Kỹ thuật hạ tầng; Khu vực học, Quản trị KD và Chính sách công.

Xin giới thiệu với các bạn chương trình đào tạo thạc sỹ Kỹ thuật hạ tầng hợp tác với ĐH Tokyo- ĐH hàng đầu Nhật bản và là một trong những ĐH hàng đầu thế giới. Riêng trong lĩnh vực Civil Engineering của ĐH Tokyo xếp hạng tốp trên cao nhất, đứng hàng thứ 2-3 của thế giới từ 2010 đến nay, và tập trung vào một số lĩnh vực như:

– Kỹ thuật công trình giao thông, cầu, hầm, công trình ngầm;

– Kỹ thuật và công nghệ vật liệu mới trong xây dựng công trình;

– Duy tu, bảo trì các công trình kỹ thuật hạ tầng;

– Quy hoạch vùng và đô thị;

– Quản lý các dự án xây dựng, giao thông, Kỹ thuật hạ tầng.

Trong quá trình học tập, 50% học viên xuất sắc nhất sẽ được JICA tài trợ sang Nhật thực tập 3 tháng trước khi làm luận văn tốt nghiệp.
